Printed Home Guard titles worn by 43rd Lancashire ( Salford ) Btn . Accompanied by a red, embroidered Home Guard shoulder title. The Manchester HG Battalions used different coloured shoulder titles to denote the area they represented. The red title is the correct title associated with the 43rd Btn.Both items in good, used condition with clear evidence of haven been removed from a uniform.  read more

Wine or bottle stopper in the form of a caricature of Hitler's head . This was one of a series of caricature heads of Allied and Axis leaders in a similar form. Made from a resin type material this example in excellent condition with minor rubbing to highlights and a small hole in the reverse of the hat brim ( not visible from the front ). Full of stories ' Siren Cinderella ' , ' World on Wings ' etc., with other pertinent wartime articles and adverts with a regular ' Worrals ' story, a contribution by W.E.Johns.
