NARPAC Animal Service Armband.

Excellent condition armband for the ' Animal Service ' of the National ARP for Animals or NARPAC. NARPAC was the acronym for the National Air Raid Protection for Animals Committee'. This was described officially as an 'animal lovers' voluntary wartime organisation that looked after the welfare of animals in time of war. Excellent, clean condition with some minor storage marks.  read more

Enamel ' Shelter S Here ' sign. Single-sided, originally 55 x 30cms approx but now bottom edge has approx. 4cms missing due to corrosion. Missing enamel around the locating holes but otherwise in good condition. Priced accordingly to reflect the damage, a cheaper example to the increasing scarce and expensive option of obtaining a better example. Heavy item.  read more

Standard, die-struck WLA cap/lapel, pin back badge. This example has been chromed for reasons unknown . Small areas of enamel damage to crown and centre but otherwise in good, used condition. This variation is uncommon and as yet no specific reason is known for this treatment.  read more

Norfolk War Charities Week Flags.

Flag Day emblems given in exchange for a donation to Norfolk War
Charities Week. Although not printed on the flag these came with a collecting tin and paperwork indicating their source which is borne out in the design which features a silhouette of Norwich Cathedral. In good clean condition with some minor rust bleed where pin passes through the flag.
