Woman Home Guard Auxiliary Certificate.
Approx 16 x 20cms certificate given in appreciation of service as a Home Guard Auxiliary. These certificates are not common when you appreciate that there were only 32,000 Women auxiliaries compared with nearly 2 million men in the Home Guard.
This two-colour certificate was issued to Miss N.M.Holbrook and is in good condition with some minor marking and one small hole. read more

Knitted wool jumper by Towles Ltd., for use by the Women's Land Army. Rayon label to waist indicating manufacturer and size, 5, and dated 1943. Excellent condition, in pretty much perfect, probably unissued condition. A rare opportunity to acquire an original example in such excellent condition. read more

MkII helmet manufactured by Briggs Motor Bodies marked for use by members of repair parties for the electricity infrastructure. Black painted with ' RP/E ' to front and reverse. Fitted with a 1939 dated, size 6 1/2, MkII liner manufactured by the Teddy Toy Company. Manufacturer marked to rim but no obvious date. Generally good condition with some staining and corrosion. read more
