Chrome and Enamel cap badge for the Air Defence Cadet Corps. The ADCC, planned by Air Commodore Chamier was formed in 1938 with a view to prepare cadets for joining the RAF or the Fleet Air Arm. The Corps were subsumed by the ATC IN 1941. In good, used condition with both lugs to reverse and manufacturer marked ' J.R.Gaunt '.

Originally conceived by the artist Phillip Boydell as the 'Money Grub' the scheme was accepted almost unaltered except for the name.
