Crashed Luftwaffe Aircraft Souvenirs.

Contained in a grubby biscuit tin this is a small collection of aircraft fragments taken from the crash site of a Luftwaffe aircraft in Kent. Word of mouth testament from the seller indicates that these fragments were taken from the remains of a Ju88 that crashed near Bethersden in Kent in 1943. Typical of many collections that were avidly acquired by young boys.  read more

Heavy cotton armband with printed ' Fireman ' title. Armband secured by four heavy duty cotton ties. This armband was typical of a series produced early in the war before standardisation and nationalisation of the Civil Defence services.
