A run of Battalion orders for 1941 and 1942 for the 47th County of London ( LCC ) Battalion Home Guard. Consisting of 21pgs of typewritten and handwritten orders covering training, guard duties, parades and equipment with lists of personnel. The 47th Btn. was a London County Council battalion based around Lambeth. Good overall condition with various creases etc, has been folded. read more

Silver gilt and enamel, lapel badge for a Fire Watcher. Badge worn by the force intended to stop the spread of fire caused by bombs in mainly industrial/business premises. Superceded in 1941 by the Fire Guard. Badge in good, used, bright, condition with undamaged enamel. The black spots in the image are in the enamel and have been emphasised in the photo. read more
