Embroidered gold on blue, cotton, Warwickshire Civil Defence area title. Similar in design to the later post-war area titles the wartime examples are distinguishable by being embroidered on heavy duty cotton and finished with a merrow edging stitch. Blue plastic 'Fuel Watcher' pinback badge. Fuel watchers were created by the Ministry of Fuel and were intially industrial staff, who were authorised to save energy consumption by any means turning off lights etc. The scheme was extended to include non-industrial concerns, shops, schools etc. The badge could be obtained from regional Coal Offices.
