City of Westminster Warden door sign.

Pressed steel, chromed sign for a City of Westminster ARP Warden. Mounted on a shaped piece of wood, these signs were originally intended as door/gate signs but this one probably made into a desk sign. In excellent, clean condition with minor wear to painted area. Uncommon.  read more

1918 dated U.S. M.1917 bayonet by Remington for fitting to the U.S. .30.06in rifle, the standard issue rifle of the Home Guard. This provenance is further reinforced by the presence of a '39 Pat. Illustrated with diagrams and b/w photographs the 74pg manual covers all major grenade types in service with the British Army as well as a section on German types. Slightly grubby cover but otherwise a good copy of an uncommon manual.  read more

WLA Grouping.

Land Army grouping to Mrs Agnes Gladys Ottway who served in the WLA from September 1941 to November 1946. Group consists of the Release Certificate, Service Certificate, brass and enamel cap/lapel badge and embroidered WLA slip-on shoulder title. All items in good, clean condition with the slip on title having had the slip-on tape removed probably having been sown directly to the greatcoat.  read more
