Small, 15 x 12cms approx, enamel sign produced by the Ministry of Works and Buildings for use with ARP related equipment in Government controlled buildings. This particular example indicates the location of a damper controlling air supplies possibly to a shelter or a gas filtering system. 1917 dated U.S. M.1917 bayonet by Winchester for fitting to the U.S. .30.06in rifle, the standard issue rifle of the Home Guard. This provenance is further reinforced by the presence of a '39 Pat.
