First Issue National Registration ID Card with Police Endorsement.
Created by the National Registration Act of 1939 the Identity Card was a requirement for all with this particular example with a Police Endorsement given to serving police officers. Issued in Wolverhampton in 1943 with b/w photograph. In good used condition with light marking and scuffing, uncommon. read more

Gilt and enamel, pinback lapel badge for the Beaver Club in London. Staffed mostly by British women, the Club, near Trafalgar Square offered a number of services from haircuts to coffee to Canadian service men. Staff members wore one of two badges, this example being the smaller 15mm example. Maker marked Fattorini, B'ham. In excellent, clean and bright condition. read more

Gilded brass lapel badge with pin fitting for Royal Ordnance Factory No.12. No.12 was R.O.F Radcliffe, Wigan which specialised in engineering .These badges were introduced in 1940 for workers at the various factories across the UK but were phased out from 1942 because of the their consumption of valuable raw materials.
