Woven silk badge for the Royal Life Saving Society's Respiration Service. This was worn on the right breast pocket by CD personnel who had passed the Society's examination in artificial respiration. Good used example with clear evidence of having been removed from a uniform. read more

Coated linen bag for National Flour. National Flour was a blend of flour introduced by the rationing system ensuring that flour was produced to a national standard with a far higher level of wheatgerm than normal. As a result the blend was not as fine as with pre-war standards and retailers were keen to point this out noting it on bags and advertising.
