Cast brass bell with wooden handle stamped ARP to rim and the date 39 and mark ' J.B ' to top with the brand ' Fiddian 'stamped to the collar. These bells were used by ARP personnel to signal gas attack or air raid warnings. In good, clean condition with casting marks to body and flaw to rim. read more

Embroidered badge for members of the Royal Navy Y Scheme, a scheme which allowed young men to pre select service in the Navy before their call up at 18. 40mm x 155mm Bronze door/gate sign for an Air Raid Warden. Featuring the ubiquitous ARP symbol the sign is in good, overall condition although for some reason has received a coat of varnish. Infinitely scarcer than it's enamel counterpart. read more

Well constructed ,heavy cotton armband with the title ' Rest Centre Marshall ' printed in red. Issued presumably, for those people nominated to deal with the expected rush of people to rest centres in the aftermath of an air raid. Good, slightly ' foxed ' condition. read more

Chromed, brass lapel badge with pin fitting for Royal Ordnance Factory No.13. No.13 was R.O.F Radway Green, Cheshire which produced small arms ammuntion.These badges were introduced in 1940 for workers at the various factories across the UK but were phased out from 1942 because of the their consumption of valuable raw materials.

Standard CD embroidered breast badge with wartime bordered area title for Cornwall still mounted on the serge pocket material of a CD tunic. Insignia in excellent, used condition, the backing material shows signs of mothing, clearly why it was cut from the original tunic, item has been treated against further damage. read more
