With a dedication by the Chief Warden, this largely pictorial title shows their Majesties inspecting the CD forces and the damage inflicted to the City throughout 1940 and 1941 with the most recent heavy raid the previous month. Gilded brass lapel badge with half moon fitting for Royal Ordnance Factory No.4. No.3 was R.O.F.Hereford which filled shells.
These badges were introduced in 1940 for workers at the various factories across the UK but were phased out from 1942 because of their consumption of valuable raw materials.
