Contained in a grubby Thornes' Toffee tin, the collection mostly consists of AA fuze fragments with a small number of bomb fragments. This was formerly the property of a resident of a house in Armley, Leeds and was recently found in a house clearance. City of Glasgow Home Guard Titles
Printed blue/black on khaki Home Guard titles worn by the 1st City of Glasgow Battalion Home Guard. Clear evidence of having been removed from a uniform and in good used condition with some light marking. Like most of the Scottish units, their insignia is less common despite the number of battalions in the City. read more

Wartime Sanatogen Tin. Sanatogen was a food tonic, a concentrated nutrient with tonic properties which was easily digested and absorbed. Tin clearly marked ' Emergency Pack ' to two faces of the tin, good overall condition with some minor marks and bruising. read more

Home Guard slip-on shoulder titles.
A good,original, matched pair of worn, Home Guard slip-on shoulder titles. Embroidered cotton on wool, these titles were unofficial and were based on the design adopted by the Regular Army and were probably sourced locally. Apparently in widespread use by 1941 these examples are in excellent,used condition with some very minor moth grazing.
