The Economizer A.R.P. Lamp.

One of the plethora of early War products that were designed to appeal to a public who were coming to terms with A.R.P. and blackout regulations. The Economizer A.R.P. Lamp manufactured by the British general Manufacturing Co.Ltd., of Brockley, South East London, was a low voltage, hooded lamp that could be run from the mains via an integral transformer. Contained in it's original packaging. Not sold as working and should be checked before use otherwise in good, used condition. The shade on this product is notoriously fragile and this example has a repaired crack. Uncommon.
