Fire Force 28 NFS helmet.

Hand painted MkII helmet with applied NFS decals. This example is badged for a member of NFS No.28 Fire Force. No.28 Fire Force covered Bolton and surrounding area. Paint has now largely obscured manufacturer's details but is fitted with a size 7 MkII, 1939 dated liner by Briggs Motor Bodies. Pencilled NFS service number to inner rim along with initials which are repeated to the chinstrap. Good, used condition.
