'40 Patt BD blouse and trousers to a named officer in the 6th (Harrogate) Battalion, West Riding Home Guard.
Size 8 - Height 5'7"-5'8", Chest 37"-38", Waist 32"-33" '40 Patt BD blouse by the Durigo Manufacturing Co with inspection marks indicating manufacture in 1940. Rank pips to both epaulettes indicating Lieutenant rank with both sleeves bearing screen printed Home Guard shoulder titles over unit designation ' WR 6 '. Lanyard to right shoulder with a Girl Guide pattern whistle. The tunic named to ' R.G.Dobbyn, No.2 Platoon, E Company ' with a stitched name in red cotton to both blouse and trousers. Tunic has been altered with the addition of knitted shoulder pads and the addition of belt loops ( one now missing ). Minor moth damage to l/h cuff and a small snag to r/h armpit.
Tunic accompanied by a pair of '40 Patt trousers, again named to Dobbyn with a WD inspection mark, no further marking. Complete with both ankle adjusters and in generally good condition other than the not uncommon moth degradation to the groin and inside leg. Good named uniform to one officer.
