Acme ' Siren ' Whistle. Nickel plated whistle that imitates the sound of a siren with the addition of an extended horn to allow for amplification. Acquired from a house clearance in Wirksworth, Derbyshire along with other ARP items. This is a purpose manufactured item using a Hudson's Patent Siren whistle with a patented, nickel plated horn soldered to the whistle with a collar and ring to allow for attachment of a lanyard. In good, used condition and in ' as found ' condition and highly unusual.
