10 x 15cm approx ,enamel sign for His Majesty's Office of Works ARP advising of emergency telephone number in Whitehall. These signs were removed from shelters and other public buildings in London. In excellent condition except for chipping of enamel to one corner.

50 x 63cm Poster for Oundle & District Thanksgiving Week C1943. Poster lists all the events for the week including involvement from the Home Guard , WVS and Junior Training Corps. Window into a wartime week with H.M.Forces being offered reduced entry into the dances. In good overall condition with minor foxing and creasing from having been folded.

80mm tall tin for Elastoplast adhesive bandage. Clearly marked ' WARTIME CONTAINER ' to indicate the decrease in quality in line with adherence to wartime restrictions on packaging. Tin in good condition with some very minor scratches and staining.

Civil Defence Factory Helmet - Symblem Battery Co.
Mk.II No.2c Mild steel plate helmet used by the ' Symblem Battery ' Company. 3 hole rim signifying Mk.II No.2c pattern in regulation grey finish for this pattern of helmet and manufacturer marked JSS for Joseph Sankey & Sons, Bilston, 1941. Dusty liner by Christy & Co Ltd, London also 1940 dated. Number painted in silver to underside of brim.
In excellent, clean condition with company decal to front which has been over varnished or lacquered. Marks ( removeable ) to crown from having been stored one on top of another. Excellent example.

ARP 68 Civil Defence blue beret. Size M, 1943 dated by Beret Industries Ltd with embroidered CD badge to front. The Civil Defence beret was authorised in July 1941 and was on general issue by the time the beret badge was introduced in March 1943.
In good, worn condition, moth free.
